At SB TheatreWorks, we believe that the process of creating drama is just as important as the product. Our aim is to nurture our students' interest in drama and the performing arts and provide them with an outlet for self-expression in a friendly and relaxed environment.

Suzanne Binley
Founder and Director
Suzanne Binley is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, where she studied Drama and Modern Irish. She has been teaching drama for over twenty-five years. Suzanne spent her early years as a tutor at Young People’s Theatre. She then went on to become a director of Pygmalion Drama School for twelve years. She is currently Programme Director of the Higher Diploma in Drama Education with The LSMD at Griffith College.
Suzanne holds the position of drama teacher in a number of South Dublin schools, both Primary and Secondary. She examines for The LSMD and also runs professional development days on behalf of the Leinster School of Music and Drama and has been appointed Development Manager for the examining board. She is a former board member of the Speech and Drama Teachers of Ireland. Suzanne was delighted to be a member of the NCCA panel that developed the new Leaving Cert subject, Drama, Film and, Theatre Studies (DFTS).
Suzanne is passionate about drama as an educational tool and is committed to helping students to develop the confidence, communicatin skills and talents in a safe and creative environment.
Sarah Brennan
Founder
Sarah Brennan is a graduate of the Samuel Beckett School of Drama, TCD.
She also holds an MA in Creative Writing from UCD.
Sarah has worked as a drama teacher for twenty years. During this time, she was a member of staff with Young People’s Theatre, as well as working as a professional actress with most of Ireland’s leading theatre companies including Rough Magic, B*Spoke, Landmark, Pan Pan, Lane Productions and Barnstorm. She has also worked extensively for RTE Radio.
In 2002, Sarah co-founded X-Bel-Air Theatre Company, producing and directing several successful productions as part of the Dublin Fringe Festival.
Her recent directing work includes, ‘Three Men Talking About Things They Kinda Know About’ (nominated for the ‘Little Gem’ Award, Absolut Fringe Festival) and 'Walk for Me', Dublin Fringe 2017 (revived by Project Arts Centre, 2019)
Sarah is also a lecturer on the Higher Diploma in Drama Education at Griffith College.
